About the Collective
Little Fish Collective is owned and operated by Kaija with the help of her talented family. Kaija decided to create the business after the birth of her second child. She had used mass produced cloth nappies on her first daughter and was not looking forward to once again struggling with fit and features of those nappies so she decided to make her own.
The process and end product was so enjoyable that Kaija decided to start selling them so that more parents could feel the same enjoyment she felt when using the nappies. After months of testing and tweaking she was finally happy with a design that would not only fit well but be easy to use and look great too.
Did I mention that Kaija will be designing prints for nappies too? Yep, soon there will be in house designed nappies exclusive to Little Fish. If you are handy with a sewing machine there will be limited numbers of "Nappy cuts" available so you can make your own "Little Fish" nappies at home.
Where did the name "Little Fish" come from? Well the family lives in Newcastle NSW they have access to some of the best beaches in Australia and both of Kaija's daughters love the water. The eldest learned to swim independently shortly after her third birthday. Mr Fish loves to body surf and is happiest in the water.
